Abstract

The ancient Egyptian's knowledge of the benefits papyrus plant was one of the important turning points that his civilization witnessed, as he benefited from the plant in many areas, including his invention of papyrus leaves, one of the most important inventions of humanity. If we skip the importance of this plant and its other uses, and stop in front of writing on papyrus, it will be important what the Egyptologist James Henery Breasted wrote in 1916, where his article sheds light on the secrets of papyrus in the field of writing physics, and is an important step for studies of papyrus and the ancient Egyptian language, and its title The physical processes of writing in its early origins and its relation to the origin of the alphabet. It came to prove the virtue of Egyptian civilization over humanity, as papers were not only invented, but developed by renewing the used ink and writing tools, which were presented in the clarity of the scenes of the use of papyrus, which was widely used on the banks of the Nile and the Delta since the fourth millennium BC, and this proves the ancient state paintings dating back to The period from the year 2980 to 2475 BC, which indicates how to use it and the tools for writing on it, which are related to the sanctity of the function of the expert or writer, and remained throughout the life and the other world in ancient Egypt.
