Towards a documentary project for the fonts of arabic heritage scholars in the age of globalization

This research paper aims to develop software documentation of the lines of scholars scattered in manuscripts, for which electronic preservation has become a reality and urgent in the time of globalization.
When a person browses an old manuscript and finds that the scribe is the author himself, or discovers the manuscript signed with the author’s permission for it one of his students, or with the consent of a scholar’s handwriting for one of his students to hear the book, then he does not think that in his hands is a treasure of Arab treasures.
This paper is a review of some of what is scattered on the Internet - which often does not bear an official character - from the traces of the lines of the great scholars in the Arab and Islamic sciences, such as: Ibn Malik, Ibn Hisham, Al Serafi, Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali, Al-Qurtubi, and Al-Nuwairi, Ibn Khaldun, Al-Maqrizi, Ibn Al-Jawzi, Ibn Al-Jazari, and others. When one finds this number of scholarly lines available in the era of globalization, he feels that we have an obligation in this era to undertake a documentation project that collects and preserves these lines.
It is worth noting that the purpose of this documentary work is not only to see the lines of our scholars who have lived indebted to their knowledge throughout the previous centuries, but will serve the purposes of studying Arabic calligraphy and its stages of development, and to the written linguistic phenomena of previous scholars.
