This paper deals with: A message on the way to our culture, by Mahmoud Shaker, and provides a reading of the foundation, anger, and transgression letter. Shaker's message is an important founding work that should be one of the tributaries to reshape the Arab-Muslim mind on the basis of the belonging protective identity. This reading dealt with the following: Introduction: In Praise of Meditation and Lesson for Inspirational Books 1- The entireties and content of message 2- Acculturation levels with the message (sympathy/anger) 3- The content of the remainder of the message is related to the way of reshaping the contemporary Arab-Muslim mind. The reading revealed a distinct presence of a package, which is suitable for survival, as a contribution to shaping the contemporary Arab- Muslim mind. This reading resulted in a set of important results: First- The diversity of levels of sympathy with the message reveals its importance in contemporary cultural formation, particularly in the Islamic case. Second- Acculturation of Dr. Saad Maslouh represented the most positive acculturations because of its critical and civilized vision. Third- The message represented a pattern of institutional intellectual works produced by the awareness of the general civilizational plight that afflicted the Muslim nation, and which resulted in a civilizational decline. Fourth- Reading and analyzing the message revealed a package of things that remains to serve the processes of shaping the contemporary Arab-Muslim mind on the basis of belonging identity, and appreciating languages, commonalities, and different cultures.
