My goal in this research is to identify the "emergence of Arabic theater in Egypt"!! I do not mean to repeat what I have written – for more than twenty years – or to repeat what is known and consumed, but I mean to announce the new and discovered about this matter to researchers in Egypt and the world and to re-read the history of Arabic theater in Egypt, according to the results of this research that will add an untrodden dimension to what is known about this topic. At the same time, it will shake constants that have been stable for one hundred and fifty years!!
. The aim is behind this is to:
1 – Identify the first attempts of what was published in Arabic about theater in Egypt.
2 – Identify the beginnings of theatrical texts published in Arabic - translation and composition - in Egypt.
3 – Discover the beginning of theatrical performances that were presented in Arabic or colloquial language in Egypt.
4 – Document the Egyptian government's project to establish the Arabic theater.
5 – Document attempts to establish Arabic theater in Egypt.
6 – Present the truth of the English Mr. James, and his theatrical activity in Egypt.
7 – Identify the pioneer of Arabic theater in Egypt!
