In this article, the author presents a new reading of the only novel whose threads were woven from the reality of the Egyptian ancient history by one of the pioneers of science, culture and knowledge in our Arab World. Dr. Muhammad Awad Muhammad is a great geographer, writer, translator and sometimes a poet. This novel is a historical one entitled "Sinuhe"; its first edition was issued in in the famous "Read" series in the December issue of 1943.
The study, also, sheds some light on the author of the novel, who represents an outstanding model from the most prominent generation of our pioneers in scientific, intellectual and cultural terms.
The story of "Sinuhe" belongs to a type of human literature that deals with the human soul, and this is the secret of its survival and immortality, and it is also the secret of the similarity that may occur between the events of the novel, and even its persons that we may encounter in a stage or multiple historical stages of events and persons as well. Meanwhile, this paper provided a summary that includes the main outlines of this historical novel. This novel is an influential lesson from the lessons of patriotism, adherence to the soil of the homeland, attachment to its love, and overwhelming longing for it, especially during periods of distance from it, and then adherence to returning to it regardless of the challenges and difficulties.Finally, the author recorded some critical comments about the novel and its narrator.
