Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Information, Ain Shams University, and the Faculty of Media and Communication Technology, Misr University of Science and Technology.
This study presents a future vision for the development of social media and information security research, based on a meta-analysis methodology of studies concerned with this field from 2017 to 2022. The studies were selected with an intentional sample consisting of 117 studies from international databases, to meet the increasing security needs of contemporary press institutions, Especially the digital ones. The study results and recommendations aimed to develop the research trends in Arabic studies. It also presented an academic vision for the development of social media, national security courses & researches in the faculties of Mass Communication.
