Sacrifice from the perspectives of Sharia and Science

Abstract

This article addresses the topic of sacrifice from the perspectives of both sharia and scientific perspectives, by talking about the value of sacrifice in Islamic sharia, and sacrifice from a biological scientific perspective. Sacrifice is considered one of the important acts of worship in Islam, and it is the process of offering sacrifices to God Almighty as an expression of loyalty and sacrifice.

Eid al-Adha in Islam is a unique occasion that embodies the values of sacrifice, humility and social solidarity. The study discusses the scientific difference between the various meanings of slaughtering, the benefit of slaughtering an animal according to Islamic law, and the harm that occurs if the islamic standards for slaughtering an animal are not applied. It then tackles the various drawbacks that must be avoided while slaughtering, then about the nature of the sacrifice of the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace. The study concludes with discussing livestock.
