This study aims to identify the dimensions of identification among university youth with influencers through social media. The extent to which university youth acquire new forms of positive behaviors and knowledge as a result of exposure to influential models, which are qualitative descriptive studies The field study was conducted through direct interviews with focused discussion groups of university youth, based on the survey methodology, on a sample consisting of (100 items divided into ten groups of students of the Media Sciences Division of the International Academy of Engineering and Media Sciences, and students of the Higher Institute of Information and Communication Arts) The most important results of the study came: the multiplicity of names, characteristics, and fields of specialization of the influencers who are followed by the members of the study sample. The perception of similarity with influencers and identification with them is very high in the male sample, while it varied in the female sample, meaning there is an effect of the gender variable on the degree of identification The behavioral identification with the personalities came in the first place, then the desired identification, then the emotional and cognitive identification. . The degree of admiration for the influencers and the sense of intimacy and friendship were very high, while the degree of typical influencers or the desire to be like them in the sample
