The Impact of Social Media Platforms on the Awareness of Egyptian Women Regarding Their Rights within the Framework of the Goals of the 2030 Plan

Abstract

The study aims to understand the role of social media platforms in raising awareness and shaping the consciousness of Egyptian women regarding their rights, as well as their ability to express their opinions and influence influential leaders in society. The results indicated that social media platforms have the ability to attract Egyptian women due to the freedom of information dissemination and expression. The study utilized a survey method, distributing questionnaires to a sample of 200 Egyptian women, and relied on the theory of dependency. The study also revealed that these platforms enable Egyptian women to communicate, interact, and engage with others in various ways, enhancing their awareness of their rights and the empowerment goals outlined in the 2030 plan. It can be concluded that the technological revolution has a positive impact on Egyptian women through social media platforms, allowing them to freely express their opinions and interact with various voices in society, thereby enriching their knowledge and enhancing their awareness of their rights and issues.
