Abstract

The importance of the study was to identify the attitudes of workers in the tourism sector towards the role of social networking sites. The objectives of the study varied, including identifying the extent of listening rate and follow-up periods on social networking sites, identifying the most important aspects of benefiting or not benefiting from following tourism information through social networking sites, revealing the most important challenges of sustainable tourism development that social networking sites focus on in addressing them, and one of the most important questions raised by the study, what are the most prominent social networking sites Follow On the part of workers in the tourism sector? How to assess the impact of efforts to increase the awareness of workers in the tourism sector through social networking sites What strategies can be followed to increase the participation of workers in the tourism sector on social networking sites? The study relied on the theory of the public sphere, and is one of the descriptive studies and relied on the descriptive analytical approach using the survey method and the researcher used the questionnaire form as a tool for data collection. Among the most prominent results of the study, each of the Facebook sites - X (Twitter) is one of the most important social networking sites followed by workers in the tourism sector
