Arab youth's awareness of AI technologies and its impact on shaping their vision towards their career future: A Field Study on Egyptian and Emirati Youth

The study aims to assess the level of awareness among Arab youth of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and their impact on shaping their career future. Both the Technology Acceptance Theory and the Japanese Kaizen methodology associated with managerial performance were employed.The study is descriptive, and the sample was drawn from Emirati and Egyptian Arab youth, consisting of 200 individuals from each group.
The study found a significant impact of increased awareness among Arab youth (Emirati and Egyptian) regarding AI technologies and the increased understanding of AI employment areas on their acceptance of AI technology in practical work life. This acceptance leads to a rise in positive attitudes towards its adoption in the workplace, enhancing productivity and efficiency. Particularly noteworthy is the heightened awareness of the sample regarding the benefits of AI technology usage in the workplace, as well as their perception of the ease of use of these technologies when the required skills are available. Moreover, the study highlights the sample's awareness of the risks associated with AI employment, which encourages the adoption of measures to mitigate these risks and enhance technology deployment. This is due to the increased confidence in these technologies, especially considering the tangible benefits that exceed the actual costs of their implementation in institutions.
 The study recommends an analysis of recruitment and training practices in Arab companies to assess the need for restructuring these practices to align with modern digital technological advancements. Additionally, it suggests analyzing the impact of AI technologies on work performance and productivity in Arab companies, focusing on practical outcomes and observations from both employees and administrators. This includes examining how these technologies enhance productivity and competitiveness. Furthermore, the study proposes an analysis of local policies and regulations governing the use of AI technologies in the workplace, along with recommendations for developing these policies to promote safe and responsible adoption of such technologies.
