Digital platforms are a powerful tool for marketing and supporting entrepreneurship in Egypt, underscoring the need for greater investment in training, financial support, and support networks to enable entrepreneurs to fully leverage these platforms. Egypt Vision 2030 calls for strengthening this trend by providing a conducive digital environment to support entrepreneurial projects, contributing to Egypt's transformation into an advanced and sophisticated digital society.
This study aims to explore and analyze the role digital platforms play in supporting and promoting entrepreneurship in Egypt, within the context of the state's drive toward digital transformation in accordance with Egypt Vision 2030. The study was based on a research problem: the limited effective use of digital platforms by several Egyptian entrepreneurs, despite the growth and spread of these platforms.
The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, where data was collected using an electronic questionnaire targeting a sample of (100) male and female entrepreneurs from different governorates of Egypt. The content of the most prominent digital platforms specialized in supporting entrepreneurship was also analyzed, such as Start Egypt, LinkedIn, AUC Venture Lab, Rawaq, Shababik,
The study concluded with a set of recommendations, most notably: enhancing digital culture among entrepreneurs, integrating digital marketing into incubator and accelerator programs, strengthening digital partnerships, a national digital guide to support digital entrepreneurship. The study confirms that systematically activating digital platforms can bring about a qualitative shift in the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem and contribute effectively to achieving the economic development goals and desired digital transformation considering Egypt's Vision 2030.
